Andrey Fedorov

Andrey Fedorov graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in philosophy and received his graduate degree from the Diplomatic Academy of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
1977-1986 - assistant, senior assistant, sector head in the USSR Committee on Youth Organizations;
1984-1985 - secretary of the Soviet preparation committee for the 22nd World Youth and Student Festival;
1986-1987 - Soviet representative at the World Youth magazine of the World Federation of Democratic Youth (Budapest);
1987-1989 - vice president of the International Union of Students (Prague);
1989-1990 - senior assistant in the International Department of the Central Committee of the USSR Communist Party;
July-October, 1990 - adviser to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic;
October, 1991 - December, 1993 - adviser to the Vice President of the Russian Federation;
1994-1998 - president of the Political Studies Foundation;
Since 1998 - director, Center for Political Research and Consulting Foundation;
August, 2003 - July 2004 - director for cooperation with state authorities and international issues, JSC Objedinennye Mashinostroitelnye Zavody (Uralmash-Izhora Group);
July 2004 - December 2005 - deputy general director, JSC Rusal;
Since December 2005 - adviser to the general director of JSC Rusal;
Since 1992 - presidium member of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy; Since 1998 - director of political programs at the Council;
Since 1995 - member of the Russian Academy of Economics, Finance and Law.
Fedorov is a member of the research council of the Expert Institute and the expert council of the Carnegie Moscow Center. He is the author of more than 200 publications in the Russian and foreign press.
